An article says, 'Having a regularly scheduled cheat day each week can actually be good for weight loss by preventing binges, reducing cravings, providing a mental break from dieting, and boosting metabolism—if it's done in a healthy way'. Isn't this an easy excuse to get a cheat day every week?
You definitely need break from your regular routine. Including your exercise and diet routines. This will help you stick to a strict diet for the whole week except for one day when you let yourself eat whatever your heart desires. Burgers, pizza, ice cream, chocolate, soft drinks…you’re allowed to eat anything on this one day. So take a break each week. Either as a cheat meal or as a cheat day. But cheat is a must! Crave and dive in but avoid overeating. Cheat day is not the end day afterall!
